Most casinos require the applicant to stop by the employment office and fill out the paperwork in person, however some are now allowing applications to be made online. In addition to the regular stuff one needs to apply for a job, most casinos also ask for a 10 year employment history, and if a job is offered, many casinos require one to pass a drug test as well.
From the MGM-Mirage Web Site:
When completing an application you are required to provide the following information:
- A picture ID
- Employment history to include addresses, telephone numbers and dates of employment for all jobs during the past 10 years.
- Three personal references, including addresses and telephone numbers, who are not family members or former employers.
Pre-employment drug testing is a condition of employment.
